Creative Leaders

Toitoi is thrilled to launch its 2020 Creative Leaders mentorship programme for rangatahi aged 15-25 who want to pursue a career in the arts industry.

Creative Leaders aims to grow the next generation of arts industry leaders, through unique work experiences, access to amazing workshops, meeting artists and great social events. You will get to see performances at Toitoi and contribute to community events throughout the region. As a Creative Leader you will work with your mentor to enhance and hone your skills and find opportunities to practically apply them. The Toitoi Creative Leaders programme is completely free of charge and is open to any youth from across Hawke's Bay.

Creative Leaders is made possible with help from our friends at Harcourts Hawke's Bay Arts Festival, Takitimu Performing Arts School, Kahurangi Māori Dance Company and Eastern Institute of Technology.
