Yes, but how much is too much and what are the magic measurements that will cook up that perfectly palatable prose? Authors Nicky Pellegrino and Charity Norman are here to impart their bestselling wisdom, ably hosted by fellow chart topping author, Catherine Robertson.

Nicky Pellegrino is the author of 13 best-selling novels that have been translated into numerous languages. Her latest is To Italy, With Love which was released last year and spent many weeks topping the NZ fiction chart. She is also the author of a non-fiction title, Don’t Sweat It: How to make ’the change’ a good one, a funny, frank and very useful guide to peri-menopause and menopause for New Zealand women. Nicky also works as a freelance journalist, with regular columns in the Listener and New Zealand Woman’s Weekly. And she co-hosted the podcast Book Bubble with author Stacy Gregg, celebrating New Zealand writing.
She is based in Auckland.

Ex-barrister Charity Norman was born in Uganda, raised in the UK and now lives in Hawke’s Bay. Her novels include BBC Radio 2, Richard and Judy and World Book Night titles, have been shortlisted in the Ngaio Marsh Awards and for best International Crime Fiction in the Ned Kelly Awards. Her seventh, Remember Me, was released in March this year.

Catherine Robertson’s novels are all #1 New Zealand bestsellers. She writes contemporary fiction for smart readers who like to be entertained and don’t mind occasional swears.

Catherine has lived in the US and the UK, and currently divides her time between New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington and sunny Hawke’s Bay. She has one husband, two grown sons, four Burmese cats and two rescue dogs.
She is a book reviewer and regular guest on Radio NZ. She’s on the board of arts organisation Verb Wellington, a member of the Academy of NZ Literature and Romance Writers of NZ, and she teaches creative writing in prisons. In 2020, she was Writer in Residence at the International Institute of Modern Letters, Victoria University of Wellington.
