Cancelled: The Kids Sing Choir Festival

Kids Sing image
Unfortunately due to the current Covid-19 alert level, The Kids Sing Choir Festival has been cancelled. We tried really hard to reschedule this event, but unfortunately the dates we had weren't suitable. We're just as disappointed as you, we promise!
If you purchased your Kids Sing tickets on debit or credit card, your refund will be automatic and you don't need to take any action. If your credit/debit card has expired or been cancelled since your purchase, or if you purchased with cash, please phone Ticketek on 0800 842 538 or email with details of the event you purchased to, and your bank details, so your refund can be arranged. Understandably, Ticketek are inundated with events being cancelled at the moment, so your patience is much appreciated.

The Kids Sing Choir Festival is an opportunity for primary and intermediate school choirs and their conductors to perform in a supportive, professional environment with constructive feedback.

School children take part each year, with the event growing annually as more and more primary school conductors realise that better musical outcomes can be achieved through the teaching and nurturing of basic choral techniques.

This year Hawke’s Bay Festival will see 13 schools with just under 500 children taking part.

5pm show - Taradale Minstrels, Frimley School Choir, Te Mata School Choir, Haumoana Junior Choir, Havelock Primary School Choir, and Greenmeadows School Choir.

7.30pm show - Havelock North Intermediate Voices, Lindisfarne Junior Vocal Ensemble, Les Jeunes Choristes, Cantante Dulci, St James Chapel Choir, Les Petites Voix, Tamaiti Tuis, and Project Prima Volta Junior Choir.
